Independent Researcher
Chiang Mai, Thailand
I am a numerical analyst. In Karlsruhe, at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), I worked with colleagues on discontinuous Galerkin methods for waves and for the evolution of dislocations in crystals. Later I was with the Department of Mathematics at Chiang Mai University.
Today I live in Chiang Mai and do research independently, for the pleasure of it: slowly, with a notebook and a lot of small experiments. I am especially curious about how the numerical ideas I grew up with, such as stable time stepping and structure-preserving schemes, carry over to neural networks.
Beside the mathematics I build small, free web projects, mostly for learning and play. You can find them on the Projects page, and my papers on the Research page.
